Safety Is Our Goal

L&B has initiated an aggressive, on-going safety program that encompasses the area of education, training, prevention, identification, and correction.  Taking an extra step further, L&B  has a toll free number located on the back of our equipment for motorist to call in a driver's performance.

L&B is equipped with a modern, customized safety-training department that is used to aid an existing employee to focus on current safety issues affecting their job duty and safety. One way in doing this is Computer Based Training provided to all new drivers.  L&B drivers meet or exceed compliances with all Federal, State, Local and Chemical Plant regulations.

Safety Meetings are mandatory for all drivers held twice a year.  As an incentive for our drivers to be exceptional, Safety awards are given through out the year for outstanding performances.  These performances include but are not limited to safe driving, safe loading and unloading and no accidents or incidents. These items are just a few of the many ways safety is carried out through the company. Safety is one of the many goals for L&B.

DOT Safety Rating has always been a Satisfactory rating.
